Charles Mondane, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 8, 2022, in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. while Charles was standing on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of West 73rd Street. According to reports, someone inside a red SUV fired multiple shots, striking Charles in the head.
