Daquan Conner, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 8, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Conner was standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of North Lamon Avenue at approximately 12:38 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire. He was struck five times: twice in the abdomen, twice in the upper thigh, and once in the shoulder. Despite being rushed to Stroger Hospital, Conner succumbed to his injuries.
