Destiny Latice Nicholas, a 23-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 13, 2019, in a shooting incident in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago, IL. Destiny was sitting in a vehicle with a 26-year-old man when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking her multiple times, including in the head.
