Demetrius Ferguson, a 37-year-old African American male from Chicago Heights, was tragically shot and killed on the night of June 18, 2019, in University Park, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the 500 block of University Parkway. Responding officers found Ferguson with a gunshot wound to the chest.
