Willie Coker, a 42-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on August 31, 2019, in the South Chicago neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 12:22 a.m. in the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue.
