Tyreese Cooper, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 5, 2019, in Calumet City, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Sibley Boulevard. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Cooper sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. at a nearby trauma center. He was a resident of Country Club Hills, a neighboring suburb.
