Richard Karikari Asare, aged 24, was shot and killed on September 17, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland. Asare was walking in the 1300 block of East Lanvale Street at approximately 11:20 a.m. when the incident occurred. He was a Ghanaian student attending Morgan State University and was originally from Glen Burnie, Maryland.
