Corey Laster, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2019, in Decatur, Illinois. Corey was born on August 3, 1986, and was a beloved member of his community, known for his love of life, family, and cars. He was a student of the Decatur Public Schools and was recognized for his athletic abilities in baseball and track. Corey was a family man, leaving behind six children and numerous siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who cherished his memory.
