Breanna Kelly, a 29-year-old African American woman from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost her life on November 23, 2019. She was a mother of four and was well-regarded in her community. On the night of her death, Breanna was attending a party in the 4000 block of W. Virden Street when she was fatally shot. The Peoria County Coroner, Jamie Harwood, confirmed that Breanna died instantly from a single gunshot wound to her midback.
