Elvis Garcia, a 39-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2020, in Chicago, IL. Garcia, who was known in his East Side neighborhood as a protector and helpful individual, was fatally shot while attempting to fend off an attack against himself and his neighbors. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when two gunmen drove up and started shooting at Garcia and two other men who had gathered in the street.
