Alberto Ponce, a 26-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on February 8, 2020, in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the Near West Side. The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Cullerton Street. According to reports, Alberto Ponce was walking in the area when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking him multiple times. He was quickly transported to Mt.
