Eric Markeith Shaw Jr., a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 20, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Shaw was walking out of a home in the 2900 block of West Harrison Street when he was approached by an unknown assailant who opened fire. Shaw was struck twice and was subsequently taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
