Tenesha Jenkins, a 34-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her home in Champaign, Illinois, on February 23, 2020. Her death was initially treated as a homicide by the Champaign County Sheriff's Office. Jenkins was discovered unresponsive in her residence on the 2200 block of Dale Drive by authorities.
