Remi J. Ferguson, a 30-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed in East St. Louis, Illinois, on February 26, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the 1700 block of Bond Avenue. At approximately 1 a.m., police responded to a call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Remi J. Ferguson deceased at the scene, having succumbed to gunshot wounds.
