Cedric Gibson, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 6, 2020, in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Cedric Gibson and his cousin, Alando Harris, were shot while traveling westbound on Interstate 64 near mile marker 3. The two men were returning home after a quick trip to a convenience store. The Illinois State Police are investigating the double homicide, but as of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains open.
