Vanisha Washington, a 28-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 20, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Vanisha Washington was in a vehicle with two men when they suddenly heard gunshots.
