Eric Chatman Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on May 2, 2020, in the McKinley Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of West 35th Street. According to reports, Eric Chatman Jr. was involved in an argument when a male individual pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest.
