Leonard Wallace Jr., a 49-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on May 12, 2020, in Dolton, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. in the 14800 block of Michigan Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Wallace was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead approximately three hours later.
