James Ellis, a 54-year-old man from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2020, due to a shooting incident in Princeton Park. Ellis was one of three men who were shot in the 9400 block of South Lafayette Avenue around 6:40 p.m. He was struck in the abdomen and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
