Fernando Miguel DeLeon, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on May 30, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. DeLeon was shot multiple times by his landlord, Hugo Garcia, during a confrontation at their residence in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood. The incident occurred after Garcia, who had been drinking, started an argument with DeLeon. Garcia shot DeLeon at least 15 times, resulting in his death inside the house. DeLeon was a father of six and worked as a car detailer.
