Lazarra M. Daniels, an 18-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on May 31, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. She was fatally shot in the head in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, specifically in the 4200 block of West Van Buren Street. The incident occurred around 10:51 p.m. when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Lazarra Daniels with a gunshot wound to the right side of her head.
