On the morning of June 26, 2020, 45-year-old Tony Gilford was fatally shot in Harvey, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Des Plaines and 146th streets. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, Gilford suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was a resident of Richton Park, Illinois.
