Corey Gilmore, a 39-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on July 2, 2020, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Huron Street in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Corey Gilmore was standing outside with another man when a male suspect approached and opened fire. Gilmore was struck in the chest, neck, and face.
