On July 4, 2020, Chrishun Keeler-Tyus, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed at a FasMart gas station in DeKalb, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. when Keeler-Tyus got into an argument with a female customer inside the store. The woman called her husband for assistance, and as Keeler-Tyus left the store, another dark-colored vehicle pulled into the parking lot and fired several shots at him. Keeler-Tyus was taken to the hospital, where he later died. ...
