Just after 1:30 a.m. on June 8, 2025, Anthony Hernandez, 20, male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2200 block of Eves Circle East in DeKalb, Illinois, a residential area known as the Meadowlark Townhomes. Officers converged after numerous 911 calls, rendered aid at the scene and arranged transport to a hospital in Rockford. Days later, authorities confirmed that Anthony Hernandez, 20, had died from his injuries.
