Tevin Watkins, a 26-year-old African American male from East Hazel Crest, Illinois, was tragically shot to death on July 31, 2020, in Sauk Village, a suburb of Chicago. He had been paroled in March after serving nearly three and a half years of a six-year sentence for aggravated battery to a police officer.
