Demarcus Wiggins, a 23-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 1, 2020, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. He was discovered with gunshot wounds to his chest and leg at approximately 5:50 a.m. in the 7700 block of South Phillips Avenue.
