Claude Cannon, a 76-year-old man, was fatally shot on January 26, 2016, in his home located in the Riverdale neighborhood on Chicago’s Far South Side. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds, including to his chest and buttocks. The shooting took place in the afternoon, and Cannon was discovered in the basement of his residence near 132nd Street and Riverdale Avenue.
