Quincy Ferguson Jr., a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on August 2, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Officers responding to ShotSpotter notifications of gunfire found Quincy Ferguson Jr. and another 28-year-old male, Darren Sims, unresponsive with gunshot wounds in the 2300 block of South Kolin Avenue. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
