Kevin Chester, a 55-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on September 23, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. when multiple individuals approached Chester in the 1200 block of South Kolin Avenue and opened fire. He was struck in the head and was immediately transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 3:45 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed his identity and the cause ...
