Deshawn McKinney, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 24, 2020, in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. McKinney was sitting in a car in the 11400 block of South Calumet Avenue when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, striking him multiple times, including in the back of the head.
