On September 14, 2020, at approximately 5:40 a.m., 26-year-old Lazaro Vazquez was fatally shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago. According to reports, Vazquez and his girlfriend were driving around the 2900 block of West Chicago Avenue, allegedly searching for a vehicle to burglarize.
