John Michael Betscher, a 63-year-old man from Decatur, Illinois, was tragically found dead on November 14, 2020. He was the owner and operator of JB's North, a liquor and convenience store on North Calhoun Street in Decatur. Betscher died from multiple gunshot wounds to the neck, left shoulder, and back. The Macon County Coroner confirmed that his death was a result of these injuries.
