Aaron Lawrence, a 21-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on November 24, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Lawrence was standing outside around 12:25 a.m. in the 7800 block of South State Street when he was approached by two males who inquired if he was selling marijuana.
