Preston L. Kennedy, a 23-year-old man, was fatally shot on November 27, 2020, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:25 a.m. while Kennedy was standing in the parking lot of a gas station located in the 3700 block of West Chicago Avenue. According to reports, an individual in a black sedan fired shots at Kennedy, striking him in the chest. He was subsequently transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
