Keion Holton, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death in the early hours of October 30, 2021, in the Avondale neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 2700 block of West Belmont Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Holton was one of two victims in the shooting, the other being Keyan Vance, who was also fatally shot.
