Keion Holton, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death in the early hours of October 30, 2021, in the Avondale neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. Both men were transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.

Upon arrival, officers found Holton and Vance with gunshot wounds. Holton was shot in the face, and despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries.
