Rodney Lovelace, a 27-year-old African American male from Zion, IL, tragically lost his life on December 15, 2020. Lovelace was fatally shot in a violent incident that also claimed the life of 16-year-old Kanye Marshall and left another 28-year-old man critically injured. The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Galilee Avenue in Zion, IL. According to the Lake County Coroner's Office, both Lovelace and Marshall succumbed to injuries sustained from gunshot wounds.
