Devonte Johnson, a 24-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on January 19, 2021, in Harvey, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the first block of West 151st Street. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Johnson died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
