Gabriel K. Cook, a 32-year-old male from Peoria, Illinois, was reported missing on March 8, 2021. His disappearance sparked an extensive investigation that ultimately led to the conviction of Allen K. Schimmelpfennig for Cook's murder. Cook's remains were discovered in rural Peoria County more than three years after his disappearance.
