Anthony T. Moton, a 31-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 9, 2016, in Peoria, Illinois. According to the Peoria County Coroner, Johnna Ingersoll, Moton died from multiple gunshot wounds. His last known address was in Chicago, but he was in Peoria at the time of his death. The incident marked the first homicide in Peoria for the year 2016.
