Rayneesha Dotson, a 30-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed in a mass shooting on March 14, 2021, in the Park Manor neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Dotson, who had recently moved to Texas, was visiting her hometown when the incident occurred. She was among two people killed and 13 others wounded in the early morning shooting at a makeshift nightclub located at 6798 S. South Chicago Ave.
