Darrell Holiday Jr., a 27-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 20, 2021, in the Douglas neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 3:05 p.m. in the 3400 block of South Prairie Avenue. Darrell Holiday Jr. and another man, aged 31, were standing outside when they suddenly heard gunshots and felt pain.
