Paliris Singleton, a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 6, 2021, in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. when Singleton and another man, aged 38, were standing on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Eberhart Avenue. An unknown assailant approached them and opened fire, striking Singleton in the back. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
