Detrick Daviston-Yarbrough, a 34-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on May 13, 2021. The incident occurred in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Daviston-Yarbrough was standing on the sidewalk in the 400 block of East 48th Street when he was shot in the face and leg by someone inside a silver sedan that fled the scene. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
