Quansay L. Markham, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 5, 2021, in Champaign, Illinois. He was found around 5:45 p.m. seated in a vehicle near Fifth Street and Beardsley Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Carle Foundation Hospital, he was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m. that evening.
