Quenton was driving in the Englewood neighborhood, specifically in the 900 block of West 59th Street, when a black sedan pulled alongside his vehicle. An unknown assailant inside the sedan opened fire, striking Quenton multiple times throughout his body. His car subsequently crashed into two unoccupied vehicles.
Despite being rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, Quenton was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
