Death by Force

Ruben Maravilla, a 45-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on October 9, 2021, in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. when Maravilla was standing on the sidewalk in the 2800 block of South Kildare Avenue. A vehicle approached, and two individuals exited the car, opening fire on Maravilla. He was struck multiple times in the torso and was quickly transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
