Death by Force

Dontreal Evans, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 30, 2021, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Around 4:15 p.m., Evans was inside a vehicle in the 900 block of South Monitor Avenue when he was struck by gunfire. The bullet hit him in the neck, and he was subsequently transported to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead.
