Sergio Hernandez, a 20-year-old Latino male from Joliet, IL, was the victim of a tragic shooting incident that occurred on October 31, 2021. Hernandez was attending a Halloween party at a residence on East Jackson Street in Joliet Township when the event took a violent turn. The party, which had grown out of control with over 200 attendees, became the scene of a mass shooting.
