Monjero D. Speed, a 31-year-old African American male from Sauk Village, IL, was tragically shot and killed on December 21, 2021. The incident occurred outside Tony's Food and Liquor on East Sauk Trail. On that fateful night, Sauk Village police responded to a call at approximately 9 p.m. regarding gunfire in the area of 2900 Sauk Trail. Upon arrival, officers found Monjero Speed wounded.
